Certified Bookkeeper or Certified Payroll Professional

Seeking a CB or CPP to work full-time in our Haymarket office.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
-Proof of Certification,
-Demonstrated team-player able to meet firm deadlines,
-Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision,
-Strong organizational and communication skills (verbal and in writing),
-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role requiring asset reconciliations, job costing, payroll processing and posting, and administrative support as required,
-Three current references and the ability to pass a background check,
-Prefer a QuickBooks ProAdvisor or ability to acquire this credential within 1 year,
-Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects with accuracy while providing excellent customer service and support.
-DCAA accounting experience a plus,
-5 years relevant experience, an AA in Accounting, and passing a short test can substitute for certification.
